The High Court of Judicature in Hyderabad on Thursday stayed the order of Andhra Pradesh Speaker suspending YSR Congress Party MLA K. Roja for one year in the last Assembly session.
Justice A. Ramalingeswar Rao stayed the operation of the order of the Speaker after admitting a writ petition and post the matter for further hearing

after 4 weeks.
The High Court Judge said that this was not an endorsement of the MLA's behaviour in the House on that day and the Speaker is not precluded from taking action based upon the Privileges Committee recommendations.
Meanwhile, the YSRC Party MLAs were getting prepared to welcome their MLA Roja.
