Justice Mummineni Sudheer Kumar was was dealing with two petitions filed by some Group-1 aspirants who asked how the commission could re-conduct the preliminary examination with the same chairman, members and other staff, who had been responsible for the question paper leakage earlier.

Senior counsel Avinash Reddy and Palle Nageshwar Rao, for the petitioners, submitted that investigations into the paper leakage case had not been completed and there were

cases pending in the High Court.

Advocate-General B.S. Prasad argued that all arrangements were made to conduct the examination on June 11. Moreover, 3.8 lakh candidates had downloaded their hall tickets, he said.
