Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar announces hike in salaries of sanitation workers

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced an increase in the salaries of sanitation workers both in rural and urban areas in the state. He said, monthly salary of sanitation workers in rural areas will go up from 12,500 to 14,000 rupees per month and for those in urban



areas from 15,000 to 16,000 rupees.  

Addressing a Safai Mitra Utthan Sammelan in Karnal, Mr Khattar said if the salary is delayed then 500 rupees will be given with next month's salary as additional compensation.
