Hardik Patel shifted to new civil hospital of Surat

In Gujarat, the leader of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti Hardik Patel has been shifted to new civil hospital of Surat due to health reasons. He had started an indefinite fast in the Lajpore Central Jail of Surat from Thursday.

According to sources, he had started hunger strike against inhuman attitude of prison authorities and release of Patel youths detained by police under various cases. Patel has been in jail following two different sedition cases.
