Calling for a sharper focus on citizen satisfaction, Guntur district collector Tameem Ansariya has directed officials to take systematic and sustained measures to improve public perception of government services across the district.
Chairing a review meeting here on Friday, the collector assessed citizen feedback received through the IVRS system on services provided by the RTC, transport,
registration and fire services departments.
Emphasising commuter comfort, Ansariya instructed officials to ensure uninterrupted availability of drinking water, cleanliness, seating and toilet facilities at RTC bus stations.
She directed that RO drinking water be provided at all bus stands and inspections conducted to prevent overcharging beyond the MRP at shops operating on the premises.
