Gujarat is paying rich tribute to its son of soil the former Prime Minister late Morarji Desai on his birth anniversary today. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will unveil the statue of late shri Moraraji Desai at his birth place at Bhadeli in Valsad district today.

Chief Minister Rupani will also dedicate Morarji Desai community hall at Bhadeli village on this occasion. He will visit the garden in Bhadeli and also the school



where Morarji Desai had taken primary education. He will also attend a special programme in which infrastructure facilities and memorial dedicated to Morarji Desai will be inaugurated.

Late Morarji Desai had become the fourth Prime Minister of Indian during 1977 to 1979. Born on 29th of February in 1896, he had also actively participated in India’s freedom struggle.
