Gujarat High Court extends Asaram interim bail till September 3

Rape convict Asaram, who is serving life imprisonment, has once again received relief from the Gujarat High Court. The court has granted him interim bail for the fourth time on medical grounds until September 3.

Previously, the Gujarat High Court had granted interim bail until August 21, and the Rajasthan High Court had granted interim bail



until August 29.

Asaram had filed an application before the expiry of the interim bail period previously granted by the Gujarat High Court.

The petition was heard today (August 19). Asaram's lawyer presented his medical reports, which described his health as serious. Based on this, the Gujarat High Court granted him relief.
