Gujarat govt extends night curfew in 4 major cities till 31st of January

In Gujarat, the State Government has extended the night curfew in four major cities of the State till 31st of January. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has announced that the night curfew from 10 P.M. to 6 A.M. in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot will now continue till 31st of January. Earlier, it was extended till 15th Jan. 

Meanwhile, the State Government has geared up for a nationwide vaccination drive starting from today. Administration and Health Department of Gujarat is fully



ready for launching a nationwide vaccination drive. Gujarat has already received five lakh 41 thousand doses of Covishield vaccine manufactured by Pune-based Serum Institute. 

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will remain present at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital during the launch of Vaccine drive. Eleven lakh frontline warriors including more than four lakh health workers have been identified for the first dose of vaccine during the first phase.
