Govet launches mobile app to uncover and nurture India’s raw sports talent

The government is set to launch a dedicated mobile application to transform raw and untapped talent in sports like cricket, athletics, and archery into national sporting assets. 

This decision comes after several heartwarming and inspirational viral videos on social media showcased young children demonstrating exceptional abilities.

Through the platform,



citizens across the country will be enabled to upload videos featuring talented children from their surroundings including schools and villages across various sporting disciplines. 

Promising young talents selected through this process will be admitted to Khelo India Centres, where they will receive structured training, sports science support, nutrition guidance, and mentorship.
