GoS constituted for pvt passengers train operators to advise terms, conditions

Railway Ministry has constituted a Group of Secretaries (GoS) to advise the terms and conditions for private passenger train operators to operate trains with world-class technology covering the Indian Railways network and provide world-class services.

This was stated by the Railway Minister Piyush Goyal in reply to a question in



the Lok Sabha.

The Minister said that the Group of Secretaries so far held seven meetings and the draft Request for Qualification and the draft Concession Agreement have been uploaded on the websites of Niti Aayog and Indian Railways for seeking feedback from the stakeholders.
