Goods Train Derails Near Kovvur Railway Station, Andhra

The incident reportedly caused damage to the railway track and disrupted the signalling system for some time. 

Following the derailment, some passenger trains and superfast express trains operating on the route were temporarily halted at nearby



railway stations, affecting rail traffic movement. 

Railway officials, engineering staff and rescue teams immediately reached the spot and began restoration works. Cranes and other specialised machinery were deployed to clear the derailed wagons and repair the damaged track.
