GJYM to go on hunger strike in Darjeeling

The Gorkha Janmukti Yuva Morcha (GJYM) announced that it will go on a hunger strike in Delhi and Darjeeling.GJYM general secretary, Mr. Amrit Yonzon said the party will go for the strike after the all party meet tomorrow. 

The GJM General Secretary, Mr. Roshan Giri told newspersons that Gorkhas of Darjeeling



are not safe in West Bengal. He said that the hill people aspire of a separate state, which should be fulfilled. 

Meanwhile, West Bengal Tourism Minister, Mr. Gautam Deb has appealed to the people of Darjeeling and those behind the ongoing agitation to call off their indefinite strike.
