Irrigation and Marketing Minister T Harish Rao has declared that dryer with a cost of Rs 1.5 crore would be installed in Gajwel market yard, so that farmers could dry their produce and store for a longer time to get a better price.
He inaugurated two godowns with a capacity of 2,500 metric tonnes costing Rs 17.5 crore, a rest house for



farmers, a meeting hall, covered shed and CC roads at Gajwel market yard on Friday. Addressing the gathering, he blamed the previous governments for neglecting the district and said that the State government was committed to provide uninterrupted power supply, supply of fertilisers and pesticides and providing storage facilities in market yards.
