Udaipur: The G-20 Sherpa meeting will be held at Udaipur in Rajasthan from December 5 to 7. India's Sherpa Amitabh Kant along with senior officials of the Ministry of External Affairs reviewed the arrangements related to the event in Udaipur recently. 

In a meeting with senior officials, he said that the G-20 Sherpa meeting will help in projecting Udaipur as an international tourist destination. 

Mr. Kant appreciated the efforts of the district



administration for the preparations related to the event. Major historical places of Rajasthan will also be illuminated today to mark India's assumption of the chairmanship of G-20. 

These include Kumbhalgarh Fort, Chittorgarh Fort, Vijay Stambh, Jaisalmer Fort, Ranthambore Fort, Deeg Mahal, Saas-Bahu Temple, and Abhaneri Bawdi. The intellectuals of the state have termed India's assuming the chairmanship of G-20 as a great opportunity for the country.
