Four persons feared swept away in overflowing stream at Nagapur

Four persons were feared swept away in an overflowing stream at Nagapur village in Havelighanpur mandal on Wednesday.

The victims were travelling in a vehicle when the stream, spread over nearly a kilometre in width, surged across the road and



reportedly carried them away. Though locals noticed the incident, the force of the current prevented them from entering the water to help.

Rescue teams were not immediately available in the vicinity to reach out to the victims at the time of the incident.
