Raipur: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that the objective of the Modi government at the centre is to empower all the people of the country, especially the poor and weaker sections.

Talking to reporters in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh yesterday, she said that whether it is Mudra Yojana or Stand-up India Scheme, all schemes and programmes are aimed at empowering the people and they are not just an



entitlement.

During her one-day visit to Raipur, the union finance minister participated in various events under the "Sewa aur Samparman" program.

She also visited a Covid Vaccination Center at Bhatagaon area of Raipur also planted a tree in the premises.

Smt Sitharaman also attended a seminar organized in the capital during her visit to Raipur.
