Flipkart creates over 2.5 lakh seasonal jobs across India

E-commerce marketplace Flipkart on Tuesday, September 15, said it has generated over 2.5 lakh direct and indirect employment opportunities across India to meet surging demand ahead of the upcoming festive season.

Nearly 75,000 of these positions — close to 30 per cent — are entering the workforce for the first time, the company



said in a statement.

The hiring drive spans over 7,000 Ekart facilities nationwide, spanning fulfilment centres, sortation hubs, and last-mile delivery operations.

“The festive season brings together the full scale of India’s commerce ecosystem, and our supply chain plays a critical role in making that possible.
