Five Injured as Car Crashes Into Parked Lorry in Gudur

A speeding car rammed into a parked lorry near Puritipalem on the Hyderabad–Chennai National Highway near Gudur in Nellore district.

According to reports, a group of five people left Ravulapalem, near Rajahmundry in East Godavari district, for Puducherry on Sunday evening. Their car crashed into the lorry from behind near



Puritipalem.

The police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the accident. The injured were shifted to the Gudur Government Hospital for treatment. 

Preliminary reports suggest that overspeeding and driver fatigue due to lack of sleep may have contributed to the accident. Further details are awaited.
