Five Andhra Pradesh Youths Trapped in Russian Military

Five youths from Visakhapatnam who travelled to Russia in search of employment, are reportedly trapped in the Russian military amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. 

According to information shared by the affected youths, three of them were sent to the frontline nearly two months ago. 

Their whereabouts remain unknown, raising concerns about their safety. The remaining two youths fear that they could also be deployed to the frontline within the next two days. They have reportedly



appealed for urgent assistance to return safely to India.

The youths have urged the Indian government, the Ministry of External Affairs and the Andhra Pradesh government to intervene and take immediate steps to secure their release and ensure their safe return. Their families and well-wishers are hoping for an early response from the authorities. 

A video appealing for help is being circulated on social media in the hope of drawing the attention of concerned officials to their situation.
