Chennai: The first meeting of G20 Education Working Group will be held in Chennai on Wednesday. In a day-long seminar on Tuesday, delegates from partner countries shared the use of technology in the field of higher education in their countries, inclusiveness and other factors which influence education.

Speaking to the media after the seminar, Skill Education Secretary, Atul Kumar Tiwari said, implementation of the New Education Policy will benefit the youngsters of the country.

He said that technical education in mother language is important. He said that



implementation of new education policy and reaping benefits of it could take a longer time but assured that it was completely beneficial for the future of the youth.

Addressing the media, Secretary of Higher education, Sanjay Murthy said, the upcoming education working groups which will be held at Pune, Amritsar and Bhubaneshar will discuss research and collaboration, skill development and literacy and numeracy further. He said, Prime Minister’s idea on skilling, reskilling and up skilling are the mantra for the success of skill education in the Country.
