Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said he was deeply disturbed by the alleged assault on a woman in Guntur. 

According to reports, the woman was allegedly stripped and assaulted during a dispute over a drinking water motor connection. Condemning the incident, Naidu said the humiliation of any woman is completely unacceptable and has no place



in society. 

He said a criminal case has been registered, the accused has been arrested, and the party functionary allegedly involved in the incident has been suspended. Reaffirming his government's commitment to women's safety, Naidu said, "My government's commitment is unequivocal: the law will be enforced fairly and firmly, without fear or favour.
