The full Election Commission team led by Chief  Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar arrived in Patna on a two-day visit to review the preparations for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

The delegation includes Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi.

On the first day of their visit, the Election Commission team will meet with representatives of various political parties today morning to engage in discussions and hear their suggestions.

After meeting with the political party representatives, the Commission will hold meetings with administrative and police officials on the same



day.

During these meetings, preparations related to administration and law and order will be reviewed.

The Commission will meet with all divisional commissioners, police IGs, DIGs, District Magistrates cum District Election Officers, as well as senior and district police chiefs.

On the second day of the Commission’s visit, a meeting will be held with nodal officers from various enforcement agencies tomorrow.

The discussion will focus on ensuring free and fair elections, with measures to prevent the exchange of black money, the transportation of alcohol and narcotics, and to review enforcement-related actions during the election period.
