The Election Commission has deployed 824 flying squads in Bihar to ensure speedy complaints addressal with an hour. 

A complaint monitoring system has also been set up, including a Call Centre number 1950, in which complaints can be lodged by the public or a political party. 
 
The commission today issued directions for the strict implementation of the Model Code of Conduct for the Bihar elections. It has directed the removal of defacement from Government,



public and private property and misuse of official vehicles or Government accommodation by any political party. 

The Election Commission has also restricted the transfer of all officers and officials connected with the conduct of elections.
 
 
Election for 243 members Bihar Assembly will be conducted in two phases on the 6th and 11th of next month. 

The counting of votes will take place on the 14th of November this year.
