Earthquake measuring 4.2 magnitude strikes Himachal Pradesh

An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the Richter scale was recorded in Himachal Pradesh's Kareri district on Saturday.

The quake was reported at 8.21 pm with its epicentre at a depth of 10 km



north- northwest of Dharamshala, according to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS).

The depth of the moderate-intensity quake was 10 km.

So far, no reports of any damage have surfaced.
