EAM Sushma Swaraj meets Myanmar President U Win Myint

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj called on Myanmar President U Win Myint at Nay Pyi Taw in Myanmar. 

External Affairs Minister is on a two-day visit to Myanmar for discussions on a number of bilateral and regional issues.Mrs Swaraj was warmly received by India's Ambassador Vikram Misri and Permanent Secretary of Ministry of



Foreign Affairs of Myanmar U Myint Thu. 

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson, Raveesh Kumar said, seven agreements are expected to be signed during the visit. 

Myanmar is one of India's strategic neighbours and it shares a 1,640 km border with a number of northeastern states.
