External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said in Rajya Sabha that all efforts are being made to help Indians stranded across West Asia due to the conflict between United States and Iran. 

He said that India remains in favour of peace, return to dialogue & diplomacy; advocate de-escalation, restraint, and ensuring safety of



civilians.

The Prime Minister is also closely monitoring the developments. We continue to believe that dialogue and diplomacy should be pursued to de-escalate the tensions. 

We want West Asia to remain stable. Millions of Indians are in the Gulf countries. We are concerned about them."
