Dr Kambhampati Hari Babu sworn in as new Governor of Mizoram

Aizawl: Dr Kambhampati Hari Babu is sworn in as the new Governor of Mizoram on Monday. The Gauhati High Court Judge, Justice Michael Zothankhuma administered the oath of office to the new governor at the Darbur Hall of Raj Bhavan in Aizawl.

Dr Kambhampati Hari Babu is the 22nd governor of Mizoram.

Sailo, council of Ministers and leaders of political parties were present in the swearing-in ceremony. Amongst others, Chief Secretary, DG Police and other senior officials of the state administration were also present in the ceremony.

Dr Hari Babu, an eminent scholar and successful lawmaker in various capacities, succeeded P.S Sreedharan Pillai who was appointed as the Governor of Goa.
