DGCA bans use of power banks for charging during flights

The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued a strict clarification banning the use of power



banks to charge mobile phones or any electronic devices during flights. 

The decision follows multiple global incidents involving lithium battery fires on board aircraft.
