Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan began his annual spiritual deeksha on Wednesday morning at Mangalagiri, a practice he continues to observe every year.

He initiated the four-month-long deeksha at the Panakala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Guntur district, after offering prayers at the shrine.

each year as a spiritual discipline imparted by his guru.Temple Executive Officer Suneel Kumar and priests accorded him a traditional welcome at the Rajagopuram. 

As part of the ritual, the Deputy CM offered silk clothes to the deity and performed special pujas with ashtottara namavali.APMSIDC Chairman Chillapalli Srinivasa Rao and several other leaders were present on the occasion.
