Dense fog envelops Delhi; flights delayed

Dense fog envelops Delhi on Friday morning with poor visibility hitting road traffic and delaying more than 25 flights and several train services.

Departures and arrivals were on hold at the airport as the runway visibility dropped to around 75 meters. No cancellations have been announced



yet.

The MeT office has predicted overcast conditions for today along with the possibility of light rain and thundershowers in some parts of the capital.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 24 degrees Celsius and 11 degrees Celsius respectively.
