A Delhi court on Thursday dismissed the bail plea of Christian Michel to celebrate Easter with family.

An alleged middleman in the AgustaWestland chopper deal scam, Michel is in custody and is being probed by both Enforcement Directorate and CBI.

Special Judge Arvind Kumar rejected his interim bail plea for seven days.

Special Public Prosecutor DP Singh, appearing for the CBI and the ED, said if

Michel comes out on interim bail and makes some statement relating to the case, it would derail the investigation.

Michel's lawyer argued that since the charge sheet has been filed, there is no point of tampering evidence.

The ED had filed a supplementary charge sheet against Michel and others on the 4th of this month.

The agency had in December arrested him after his extradition from Dubai.
