Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Dipke has been granted conditional bail and will be released shortly after signing a peace bond. He will not be sent to judicial custody.

Dipke was produced before the Special Executive Magistrate (SEM) court after Delhi Police arrested him in a fresh case of breach of peace under Sections 126 and 170 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita

(BNSS).

Police had taken Dipke and former All India Students' Association (AISA) president Neha Bora into preventive custody ahead of the 'Lehra Do Tiranga' protest march at Connaught Place on Friday.

Bora was released early Saturday morning after completing the formalities related to her detention under Section 65 of the Delhi Police Act. Dipke, however, remained in custody and was produced before the SEM court.
