Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to make statement in both Houses of Parliament regarding accidental firing of Missile on 9th March

New Delhi: In Parliament today, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will make a statement in both Houses regarding the situation in Ukraine.

 

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will make statement in both houses of Parliament regarding accidental firing of a Missile on 9th of this month. In the course of routine maintenance last Wednesday, a technical malfunction led to the Inadvertent firing of a missile that landed in Pakistan. The Government has taken a serious view and ordered a high-level Court of Enquiry.

In the Lower House of Parliament, there will be discussion and voting on the Demands for Grants under the control of the Ministry of Railways for 2022-23.

 

The Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Bill, 2022 scheduled to be taken up



in the Lok Sabha to amend the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950 for inclusion of certain community in the list of Scheduled Tribes in relation to the State of Tripura.

In the Rajya Sabha, there will be a reply to the discussion on working of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region.

The Constitution (Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) Orders (Amendment) Bill 2022 in Rajya Sabha will be taken up today. It will amend the Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Order, 1950 to omit Bhogta community from the list of Scheduled Castes in relation to the State of Jharkhand and the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950 for inclusion of certain communities in the lists of Scheduled Tribes in relation to the State of Jharkhand.
