Civil aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that a decision to resume regular international operations will be taken as soon as countries ease restrictions on entry of foreign nationals. Mr Puri said destination countries have to be ready to allow incoming flights.

The minister said due to increasing demand for resumption of scheduled international flights by people who want to travel abroad due to compelling reasons, he reviewed the state

of international flight operations around the world.

Mr Puri said, globally the situation is far from normal. He said most countries have less than 10 per cent international operations because they are allowing entry only to their own citizens and have placed restrictions on foreign nationals.

The minister said, there will be more flights under Vande Bharat Mission.

Hello sir, This is Nazmul Rahaman from Dubai region. I was working with Sheraton grand Dubai from past 2 years and resigned . I am staying here with no salary and I have no money left now.i applied to go back home last month through repatriation program of Indian govt but I got nothing until now. Recently typhoon hit my home place back in west Bangal and that broke my home totally. There is no one left there to support my family. There is no source of income now . I desperately want to go home to support my family as you know I have no income here except expenditure only. So I beg you people to help me to go back home and put my name in next flight to Kolkata. My company will provide the ticket just need my name in the next repatriation list to Kolkata . I hope you understand my situation here . Please help me . Thank you Nazmul Rahaman

Countries like uae has eased retriction for the residents but air india has not opened outbound flight booking for dubai and abu dhabi which should be open. Also if india will open its air travel then only other countries will open their travel for india like regular passenger flights have opened betweek Pakistan and Uae though Uae still have air travel restrictions

please open international flights as many countries have lifted their restrictions on travel... please don't charge 3 to 4 lakhs per seat as it not fare to rob people at this time of crisis... Allow the travel agents to book the flights so the process can be faster and easier... Please people are out of employment as this is crucial for everyone.
