CoWIN platform to be available in Hindi and other languages

The CoWIN platform is being made available in Hindi and 14 regional languages by next week. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan informed this at the 26th meeting of the high-level Group of Ministers, GoM on COVID-19 in New Delhi.

 

The CoWIN platform is used for registration for COVID-19 Vaccination. The



platform is handling minute details for India’s COVID-19 immunisation programme, including registering beneficiaries, allocating vaccination centres, sending text messages to beneficiaries. All citizens aged 18 years and above can register for vaccination on the CoWIN Portal www.cowin.gov.in.
