Court issues summons against state BJP President Tala Marandi

In Jharkhand, a court has issued summons against the state BJP President Tala Marandi and five others in connection with marriage of a minor girl.

The Judicial Magistrate of Godda Ananda Singh issued summons yesterday after the Block Development Officer of Boarijor



filed an inquiry report, following Court direction, on Tuesday.

In the report, it is stated that son of Tala Marandi was married to a minor girl on 27th June this year. The Court has asked all the six accused to be present in the Court on 22nd August.
