The counting of votes for MLC election results is underway in Uttar Pradesh. BJP candidate Jaypal Singh is leading in Bareilly and Babulal Tiwari is also

leading in Jhansi. Independent candidate Rajbahadur Singh Chandel is leading in Kanpur Teachers’ seat.
