Corbett Tiger Reserve has announced a ban on mobile phones during safari tours to ensure the safety of wildlife and enhance the visitor experience. "As per Supreme Court's verdict smartphones, mobile phones should not be used during jungle safari.

We are preparing to implement the guidelines according to the supreme court's orders and we will follow the process." Rahul Mishra, Deputy Director, Corbett National Park informed.

Authorities stated that mobile

usage can disturb animals and disrupt their natural behaviour, impacting the delicate ecosystem of the forest. Tourists are advised to follow the new guidelines while exploring the park to enjoy an immersive and safe wildlife experience.

Tourists visiting Corbett Tiger Reserve will soon be prohibited from carrying mobile phones during safaris. Authorities have clarified that while smartphones will be banned, tourists will still be allowed to use cameras to take photographs and record videos.
