Contract Worker Suffers Burns in Accident at Vizag Steel Plant

A contract worker suffered serious burn injuries after hot molten liquid fell on him at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Wednesday midnight.

The hot molten liquid, at a temperature of 150 degrees Celsius, fell on a contract worker, Dumbari Demudu, while



he was on duty.

As Demudu suffered 90 per cent burn injuries, the officials immediately shifted him to a private hospital for treatment. Doctors said his condition was extremely critical. Demudu hails from Kondagangupudi village in Vizianagaram district.
