Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met Governor of Manipur Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan in Imphal

Imphal: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met the Governor of Manipur Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan in Imphal yesterday to discuss the present crisis prevailing in the state. On Thursday, Mr. Gandhi visited the Churachandpur district and met with tribal leaders, and interacted with displaced people living in relief camps. He also visit a relief camp at Imphal last evening and interacted with the displaced people.

Mr. Gandhi visited two relief camps in Moirang,



Bishnupur district this morning. Upon his arrival, he paid floral tribute to the Netaji statue at INA, Moirang.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Manipur N Biren Singh tweeted that he is not resigning from the post at this crucial juncture. A large number of women flocked to CM Secretariat demanding that he should not step down from his post and they even torn his resignation letter.
