Congress Hits Back At PM Modi's Fast-Track Court Plan 'Paper Leak Case'

Amid the ongoing protests in the Nation’s capital, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced that the Centre will set up fast-track courts to ensure the speedy trial and stringent punishment of those involved in paper leak cases. 

In a post shared on X, PM Modi wrote, “Nothing is more important than the welfare and future of our youth! We have decided to set up fast-track courts to ensure swift and stringent punishment for those involved in paper leaks. 

Have directed the concerned authorities and officials to take all necessary steps in this regard. This continues our series of steps for safeguarding the



interests of students. Those who try to harm the future of our youth will not be spared.”

This announcement comes amid widespread student protests across India demanding accountability for the NEET paper leaks and the resignation of the Union Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan. The Congress claimed that the PM was "rattled" and alleged that he had harmed the future of the youth the most. 

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi hit back at the plan and alleged that Modi had allowed and encouraged the total capture and destruction of India's education system, and protected every person responsible for it.
