CM Vijay Announces Full Waiver of Co-op Farm Loans Up to Rs 75k

Tamil Nadu CM C Joseph Vijay on Monday announced full waiver of coop farm loans upto Rs 75,000.

Speaking in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, Vijay also announced a partial waiver for crop loans between Rs 75,000 and Rs 1 lakh. A



total of 13.34 lakh farmers will benefit from the loan waiver scheme, news agency reported.

He added that despite financial constrains, his government announced an additional support of  Rs 953.06 crore for farmers.
