CM Nitish Kumar Praises PM Narenda Modi on GST Reforms

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of Bihar to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the major reduction and reforms in GST rates. In a social media post today, the Chief Minister praised the next-generation GST reforms. 

Mr Kumar said that starting today, on the first day of Navratri, the new GST rates are being implemented across the country. He mentioned that now GST will have two main slabs of 5 per cent and 18 per cent.

 

 

The Chief Minister said that this reform



in GST will benefit people of all sections in Bihar as well as across the country. He added that everyday essential items for the common people will now become cheaper, and they will have to spend less on purchasing necessary goods. 

He further stated that the implementation of the new GST rates will increase the country’s GDP and provide special relief to all sections of society, particularly the lower and middle classes. He said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the GST reforms have brought prosperity to every family.
