Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would make field visits from next month to review the implementation of several schemes and programmes and ascertain how the intended beneficiaries are gaining from these.

Naidu chaired a review meeting at the secretariat to and also evaluated the functioning of the Real Time Governance System with information minister Kolusu Parthasarathi and officials from IT, RTGS, excise and groundwater departments on Wednesday.

He said, “I am going to visit



places and inspect whether the benefits of the welfare schemes are reaching every eligible citizen.” Naidu inquired about the feedback from the people on implementation of GST 2.0 reforms. 

He noted that an awareness drive was being taken up with the title ‘Super GST-Super Savings’ from Sept 22 in the state. There, he said, should be an extensive awareness campaign after Diwali festival on how the taxes were reduced. He wanted the GST 2.0 reforms to be screened in the form of slides in film theatres.
