CM Naidu 'Make India, Andhra Pradesh Number One by 2047'

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday called on people of the state to work towards making the country and the state number one by 2047, as he marked the 80th Independence Day here.

Delivering his Independence Day address at the Parade Ground in Nelapadu village of the greenfield capital city of Amaravati, the Chief Minister said the country attained freedom 80 years ago and urged people to work towards winning the world in the next 20 years.

"Let's work towards making



the country and the state number one by 2047…80 years ago we procured our independence and now let's work towards winning the world in the next 20 years," said the CM. According to the CM, there is no difference between Viksit Bharat – 2047 goal and SwarnaAndhra (golden Andhra) goals. 

A strong state is needed for Viksit Bharat and a strong country for SwarnaAndhra. Noting that decentralised development is the government's policy, Naidu said we are working towards developing all regions and empowering all sections.
