CM Naidu 'Govt Funds Misused Under YS Jagan Rule'

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu alleged that government funds were misused during Jaganmohan Reddy's rule. When the coalition took charge, AP's financial position was in a pathetic stage. 

At that time, if works were stopped due to paucity of funds, it would have led to more troubles. So, the coalition government kept continuing with the works and is fulfilling all the promises, one after the other.

He said that the coalition government has adopted HAM Model and undertaken several developmental works in the



states. 

The Centre's financial aid is also playing a key role in the development, he said. On Tuesday, Naidu toured Kuppam constituency in Chittoor district. He inaugurated several development programmes, including HAM Projects and EC Poultry sheds, virtually. 

The state government accrues its income from cities. Works in all municipalities are progressing at a faster pace. On Tuesday alone, works worth Rs 11,359 crore were inaugurated. The remaining works, worth Rs 17,000 crore, would be inaugurated soon, he added.
