A Class 10 student died by suicide in Eerlapalli village of Polavaram district. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep anguish over the death of Murrram Shivani.

Recalling his interaction with Shivani at a Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting in Rampachodavaram, Naidu said he was deeply saddened by her death. He said Shivani had spoken enthusiastically on stage and shared her aspirations and educational goals with him.

Naidu said it was

painful that a promising tribal student had died before achieving her dreams. He directed officials to conduct a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

The Chief Minister appealed to students and young people to remain strong while facing problems and difficulties and not to succumb to pressure, despair or hopelessness. He said every problem has a solution and urged young people to share their pain and concerns with family members, friends and loved ones.
