The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday informed that more than 194.17 crore vaccine doses have been provided to States and Union Territories so far under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive.

The government data further said that more than 7.98 crore balance and unutilized vaccine doses are still available with States and Union Territories.

“More than 194.17 crore (1,94,17,34,325) vaccine doses have been provided to



States/UTs so far through Govt. of India (free of cost channel) and through direct state procurement category. More than 7.98 Cr (7,98,65,080) balance and unutilized COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the States/UTs to be administered,” the Ministry said in a statement.

The Central Government is committed to accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of COVID-19 vaccination throughout the country. The nationwide COVID-199 vaccination started on January 16, 2021.
