Six-member Central team led by Joint Secretary, Home Ministry, G Ramesh Kumar, visited various flood-affected areas of Bihar.

During two days tour, the team visited different districts including Patna, Bhagalpur and Khagaria.

The team held discussions with top officials of the state



government and assessed the situation.

The team will submit a report to the Centre about devastating floods in the state.

Over 22 lakh people spread over one thousand four villages of 15 districts are reeling under the impact of floods.
