Central Govt will firmly stand to safeguard territorial integrity of Manipur: Amit Shah

The Union Home Minister Amit Shah has assured the people of Manipur that the Central Government will firmly stand to safeguard the territorial integrity of the State.

While replying to media queries in Imphal, the Union Home Minister said, Centre has always stood for the territorial integrity of Manipur and this



has not changed.

He said, however, the priority of the Government at present is to restore normalcy and communal harmony in the State.

The Union Minister also announced a relief package for kin of those who lost their lives in the violent incident.
